Movement Specialist

I work as a movement director and teacher of embodied approaches to acting. I teach in academic institutions, offer workshops for multi disciplinary artist and ensembles, and offer private coaching.

My movement teaching experience ranges from prestigious drama conservatoires to multi-hyphenate DIY art spaces. I draw from decades of extensive practice-based research in a variety of physical approaches to theatre and postmodern choreography. The pedagogic cornerstones of my teaching are the Six Viewpoints Theory and Practice and the lineage of Jerzy Grotowski’s laborotory theatre, both underlined by over 15 years of daily yoga asana and somatic inquiry.

I also teach and mentor yoga teachers in voice and presence, and can provide custom coaching for non-theatrical professionals looking to increase their confidence in public presentation.

I split my time between Los Angeles and London, and I love to travel for work! I am also Zoom savvy and available for remote teaching, private coaching and collaboration.
